Gearing up for return to fall semester for school. I have a new piece out [link] and working on new pieces this weekend. Pregnant, yeah for me! 5 months and growing, but no one believes it when they see my belly. Oh well. I'll be using Twitter to do brief journal updates and I'm on Facebook [link]rofile Other than that, not much going on...I will be posting originals for sale at a discounted price here this weekend. I'm off to game for abit and then watch "Watchmen".

You can never have enough...no really!

No really, I do. I think they shoot you in the mouth so they can numb it up so your screams of pain can't be heard by the patient in the next chair, a wall divided between you and them. Joy. My mouth is sore from getting stuck 2 in the same spot and then in another spot. Felt like the needle was going through my cheek! OW!

Anyway, I digress because of my pain...

I updated! Happiness! "Lady of Spring" is 95% completed and I started a new piece "Black Butterfly Moon" which is 80% done. I have a feeling I will get the later one done before the first. Oh well.

I enrolled @ SWIC (South Western Illinois College) and start taking classes come spring 09. I'm excited! I was hoping ceramics would be available, but for whatever reason, its not. So I replaced it with basic design, which I thought was going to be like construction and stuff, turns out its not. Literature, basic algebra (blah! I do not like math...blahblahblah!), and art history - 13 credit hours!!!

Other than the change of weather, I've been in the mood to do more angels, mermaids and other things, but I'm sure a fairy will squeeze if not press itself in there...magic is always afoot in my house!

Still plowing away on "Lady of Spring" after a month halt on her (I blame WoW!) and I started another piece whilst working on that one, which I binned, because the heaviness compared to "Lady of Spring" looks like I went back a step. Skin tone great! Marble, decent. Leaves...ugh. So, it one that I'm going to redo. I'll share it here soon and an update on "Lady of Spring"...but today, I bring you bugs to my gallery. Cool!
