Completed. I had to pause on this yesterday, but complete it - muse was screaming "Give me a break! And a hot chococinno whilst you're at it". I'm not 100% happy with the skin tone and I do appologize that the image itself is abit crooked (perhaps once all the paint is completely dry I'll edit the image w/ a good scan), but I have to say overall I'm happy with the piece for the few flaws I mention.
As previously mentioned before about this piece This is what happens when you listen to Tori Amos "(Power Of) Orange Knickers" - its becomes permanently lodged in your psyche/conscious/unconscious and everytime I heard this song my mind/muse went wondering off in this direction...a fairy w/ orange knickers. So, here I'am. I thought of rich, dark, deep autumn hues and the orange knickers...like this elegantly dressed fairy (no doubt in rich velvet) is abit of a fashion risk taker...orange knickers...who would of thought? Apparently she did. Watercolor (w/ abit of pastel pencil and gouache) on Arches Hot Pressed 140lb paper (I really like the heavier stuff better) done over the course of 4 days, a few hours here and there at a time. Nope, can't do a picture in one sitting. Comments

 I love her wings and those cute orange stockings!  Thank-you. I wanted to her wings to be just abit edgy, but not super edgy. She's a fashion risk taker...right down to her orange knickers.
